Arsenal Women have won the FA Women’s Super League for the first time since 2012 after they defeated Hope Powell’s Brighton & Hove Albion side 4-0 at The Amex Stadium this afternoon.

Vivianne Miedema opened the scoring for The Gunners early on while Katie McCabe, Beth Mead and Danielle van de Donk were also on target as Joe Montemurro’s side ran riot on the South Coast.

Arsenal have become the first side to win the all-new full-time competition after the switch from a part-time division last summer and they never really looked like getting caught following their blistering start to the campaign.

After watching their side’s victory at The Amex Stadium, fans of the North Londoners took to Twitter to give their views on Arsenal’s title success.
