Dutch international midfielder Inessa Kaagman has announced that she will be leaving Barclays FA Women’s Super League club Everton once the season officially comes to an end.
The 24-year-old Hoorn-born midfielder joined The Blue Girls from Dutch Eredivisie Vrouwen club Ajax in 2018 in a deal which saw Marthe Munsterman go in the opposite direction.
With the 2019/2020 Barclays FA Women’s Super League campaign on the verge of being ended, Kaagman took to Twitter this evening to confirm that she will be leaving Merseyside.
After 2 really nice years, I decided to leave @evertonladies at the end of the season. I had 2 great years where everyone at the club made me feel so welcome and at home! I would like to thank all the staff and… https://t.co/Uc60lJMQRe

Since joining Everton, Kaagman has made 31 league appearances for the club with 30 of those being starts. She has scored five goals in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League with her last strike coming in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at The Hive in February.
Other than her two-year stay with Everton, Kaagman has always played her football back in The Netherlands. The player has not yet announced her next move but a return home is seemingly a possibility.
