Former Reading forward Lisa-Marie Utland came off the bench to make her debut for latest club Rosenborg this evening as they drew 1-1 with LSK Kvinner in the opening match of the 2020 Toppserien season.

The 27-year-old Norwegian international left The Royals last month after spending one season at Adams Park and returned to her homeland where she has joined Rosenborg.

Utland only made the bench for Steinar Lein’s side this evening but she came on early in the second half, making her debut as Rosenborg came from behind to claim a point against LSK Kvinner at the Koteng Arena in Trondheim.

Swedish midfielder Mimmi Lofwenius scored in the first half for LSK Kvinner before Utland was brought on for Siw Dovie early in the second period with Rosenborg seeking a way back into the match. The home side were to get their reward just 11 minutes before the final whistle with Julie Blakstad on target as they rescued a point on opening day.

Former Reading forward Utland made 10 appearances for The Royals in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. She scored her only league goal in Reading’s 3-2 victory over Everton at Adams Park in October. Utland’s strike rate was much more impressive in the domestic cups. She netted six goals for Reading, five of which came in The Royals’ 6-0 demolition of Crystal Palace in the FA Women’s Continental League Cup.
