FA Women’s Championship club Lewes have confirmed that attacker Jess King is leaving The Dripping Pan this summer.
The 28-year-old, who can operate in both midfield and attacking roles, has spent the best part of 18 months with The Rookettes after joining the Sussex club from Norwegian side Kolbotn.
With Lewes boss Simon Parker looking to assemble his squad for the upcoming campaign, the club have today confirmed that attacker King is moving on. The news was broadcast on the club’s official Twitter account this morning.

King netted four goals for Lewes in the FA Women’s Championship in 18 appearances. The player has been a reliable figure in matches against clubs in and around Lewes in the league table. All four of King’s league goals came against sides in the lower reaches of the FA Women’s Championship.
The early days of King’s career saw the player spend time with both Liverpool and Everton. She has also enjoyed spells in Switzerland with FC Basel and in Germany with FF UPS Jena prior to her move to Lewes in February 2019.
