Coventry United defender Nikki Miles has signed a new contract with the FA Women’s Championship club for the coming season.
The defender, who is nicknamed ‘The General’, featured heavily for the Warwickshire club in their first campaign in the FA Women’s Championship.
With Coventry United boss Jay Bradford putting down some solid foundations for the new season, the club have today revealed via their official Twitter account that defender Miles is one of the names on their retained list with the player having signed on for 2020/2021.

Miles featured in 13 of Coventry United’s 14 matches in the second tier last season with 12 of those outings being starts. The player also featured heavily for her side in the domestic cups.
The defender was a member of the Coventry United squad which won promotion to the FA Women’s Championship from the FA Women’s National League in 2018/2019.
Miles is the seventh player to commit her immediate future to Coventry United. Teammates Katy Morris, Helen Dermody, Amber Hughes, Shannon O’Brien, Sue Wood and Hayley Crackle have all opted to remain at the Butts Park Arena for the 2020/2021 campaign as Coventry United look to improve on their tenth-place finish from last season.
