West Ham United’s busy summer of transfer market activity has continued with the signing of Swedish youth international striker Nor Mustafa according to reports on the club’s official website.
The 18-year-old becomes West Ham United boss Matt Beard’s fifth signing of the summer following the recent additions of Australian international goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold, full-backs Maz Pacheco and Hawa Cissoko and three-time Czech Player of the Year Katerina Svitkova.
Mustafa has most recently been playing her football in her homeland with Swedish club Eskilstuna United. The teenager made nine appearances for her club in the Swedish Damallsvenskan in 2019 while she was last on target for Eskilstuna United in last season’s Swedish Cup as her side won 2-0 at Alvsjo AIK.
After signing on at Rush Green, Mustafa told West Ham United’s official media channels “This is a very big move for me.
“I am very honoured and proud to be representing West Ham, who are such a great club with a very big history.
“I’ve heard a lot about the fans too, and how amazing they are. I am here to enjoy my football, learn and give the fans something to cheer about.”
Having spent all of her career to date playing in her homeland, Mustafa will now look to be as successful playing overseas as many of the Swedish greats. She joins a West Ham United side looking for success themselves as they continue to pursue a first major trophy.
