Tottenham Hotspur joint-managers Karen Hills and Juan Amoros have secured the loan signings of Alanna Kennedy and Shelina Zadorsky from National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Orlando Pride according to reports on Spurs’ official website.

While the highly-rated pair have moved to The Hive on a temporary basis, it is understood that Spurs could opt to eventually make the deals permanent.

Defender Kennedy is an Australian international who is closing in on a century of senior international caps. She has spent almost her entire career playing her football in her homeland in the W-League and has two Premiership and three Championship titles to her name. Kennedy was crowned Player of the Year with former club Sydney FC in 2015/2026 while she won the 2017 Golden Swans: Coaches Award with Orlando Pride.

Fellow defender Zadorsky started her career in Australian with Perth Glory and spent time at Swedish club Vittsjo GIK before moving to the United States. Since arriving in the US, Zadorsky has represented Washington Spirit and latest club Orlando Pride. The player has been capped by Canada at senior level on 66 occasions so far in her international career.

Spurs conceded more goals than the bottom two clubs in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League last season but the signings of Kennedy and Zadorsky should help the North Londoners improve that statistic.
