Charlton Athletic agree contract extension with attacker

Charlton Athletic manager Riteesh Mishra has agreed a contract extension with Scottish attacker Lois Heuchan for the coming season according to reports on The Addicks’ official website.

The 24-year-old forward joined The Addicks last summer following a spell playing in France with Le Havre AC and she went on to make nine appearances for her new club in the FA Women’s Championship.

With Heuchan set to play an important role in the Charlton Athletic squad again this season, the club have today reported that the player has signed a contract extension which will keep her at The Oakwood for a further year. She becomes the eleventh member of last season’s Charlton Athletic squad to commit to the club for the new season.

Upon signing on again for the 2020/2021 campaign, Heuchan told Charlton Athletic’s official media sources “I feel really at home here now and I’m delighted to have signed for another year with Charlton.

“Pre-season has been really exciting and as a group we’re ready to put the hard work into play!”

Heuchan spent the early days of her playing career north of the border with Glasgow giants Celtic before moving out to the United States where she represented the University of Kansas. The player then enjoyed a spell testing herself in France before joining The Addicks ahead of their second season in the FA Women’s Championship.
