England international defender Lotte Wubben-Moy has re-joined Arsenal according to reports on The Gunners’ official website.

The 21-year-old Londoner, who officially links up with the Lionesses for the first time at their training camp at St George’s Park next week, initially came through Arsenal’s youth ranks before leaving the club in 2017.

Wubben-Moy has most recently been playing her football in the United States with college side North Carolina Tar Heels where she has twice won the Atlantic Conference regular season and the ACC Women’s Soccer Tournament. She was expected to remain in the United States for a further year but recently opted to return to England due to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.

It has today been reported that Wubben-Moy has completed her Arsenal return. She returns to a side which lifted the Women’s FA Cup and FA Women’s Continental League Cup during her time as a senior player.

Upon re-joining The Gunners, Wubben-Moy told the club’s official media sources “I’m delighted to say that I’m officially a Gooner.

“To see that this club can play at the highest levels, achieving the things that they do while also playing such exquisite football, that is definitely something that’s drawn me to the club. I just can’t wait to be a part of it.”

It is unknown whether the defender will be available for selection for Arsenal’s trip to West Ham United tomorrow evening.
