Chelsea will be looking to take a huge stride towards the quarter-finals of the FA Women’s Continental League Cup tomorrow evening when they face London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their second group match at Kingsmeadow.

The Blues defeated another North London side in the form of Arsenal 4-1 on home soil in their first match in what was a re-run of the 2019/2020 final.

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes could look to rotate her squad for the visit of Spurs. The likes of Carly Telford, Maria Thorisdottir, Sophie Ingle, Niamh Charles, Guro Reiten and Beth England are amongst those who could be considered for recalls to the Chelsea starting XI. Manager Hayes does have one enforced change to make with forward Fran Kirby sidelined with an ankle injury.

Tottenham Hotspur will be without joint-head coach Karen Hills in the dugout tomorrow evening after she recently came into contact with a person who has tested positive for Covid-19. Fellow joint-head coach Juan Amoros could implement changes to the Spurs side which lost 6-1 to Arsenal last time out. Lucia Leon, Siri Worm, Josie Green, Rosella Ayane and Rachel Williams are some of the players who will be hoping to be given opportunities to impress at Kingsmeadow.

The FA Women’s Continental League Cup group fixture between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur is scheduled to kick-off at 7pm tomorrow night and will be streamed live on the Chelsea FC official Facebook page, the club’s official YouTube channel and the 5th Stand app.
