Manchester United are yet to concede a goal this season when attacker Lauren James has featured in the side.

The 19-year-old has suffered an injury-hit campaign so far but when she has been able to pull on a red shirt she has brought success to her side.

In total, James has played just four times in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League so far this season, made up of one start and three second half substitute appearances. When James has been on the pitch, United have scored four goals while their own goal is yet to be breached.

Martha Harris is the only other player to be part of a United side yet to concede when she is on the pitch, although it should be noted that she only has 15 minutes of league football under her belt.

Of the players who have seen United concede one goal when they have been on the pitch this season, striker Alessia Russo has the best record. The England international has played 280 minutes in which United have scored nine and conceded one. The Red Devils have conceded one goal in Lucy Staniforth’s 188 minutes and have conceded the same number in Ivana Fuso’s 36-minute cameo appearance.

United have conceded nine goals in total so far this season, the joint-third best tally in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.
