FA Women’s Continental League Cup favourites Manchester City or Chelsea will face West Ham United or Durham in the semi-finals of this season’s competition after the draw was made earlier this afternoon.

The two quarter-final ties are yet to be played with the winners of the Manchester City and Chelsea tie set to be the red hot favourites to go on and lift the trophy.

Manchester City contest their quarter-final meeting with Chelsea on Wednesday while West Ham United host second tier Durham on Thursday.

The draw for the semi-finals took place earlier this afternoon with the winners of the Manchester City and Chelsea tie being drawn to host the winners of West Ham United’s meeting with Durham in the last four.

The other semi-final tie will see Bristol City take on Leicester City at Twerton Park. The Barclays FA Women’s Super League’s bottom club will have real hope of reaching a major final under stand-in boss Matt Beard while there could be the novelty of a second tier side in the final should Leicester City come out on top in Bath.

The two semi-final ties will take place on 3 and 4 February with the final set to be staged on 14 March. A venue for the final will be announced in due course.
