Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League when they face West Ham United at Meadow Park on Sunday.
The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw with Reading last weekend as Joe Montemurro’s side looked to be a shadow of their best.
Arsenal head coach Montemurro is not thought to have any new injury concerns to contend with ahead of his side’s latest fixture. Austrian international captain Viktoria Schnaderbeck is continuing to recover from a knee injury and is unlikely to play while fellow defender Steph Catley is also out with the player having recently undergone surgery on a hamstring injury.
New West Ham United manager Olli Harder collected his first win on Thursday evening when his side saw off second tier club Durham in the FA Women’s Continental League Cup quarter-finals. Defender Maz Pacheco and forward Adriana Leon will be hoping to retain their places in The Hammers’ line-up after starting against The Wildcats while summer signing Hawa Cissoko will be hoping for more minutes after coming off the bench to net the game’s third goal.
Arsenal’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture against West Ham United is scheduled to kick-off at midday on Sunday afternoon with fans able to watch the match live on the BBC Red Button and on the FA Player.
