Australian international midfielder Chloe Logarzo has agreed to join newly-founded National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) franchise Kansas City from Bristol City according to reports on The Robins’ official club website.

It is understood that Kansas City have paid an undisclosed fee to Bristol City to secure the 25-year-old’s services.

Logarzo joined The Robins from Australian W-League club Sydney FC 12 months ago and despite her spell at Twerton Park having being disrupted due to COVID-19, the player has still managed to impress in a red and white shirt. In 12 appearances for Tanya Oxtoby’s side, Logarzo has found the net on four occasions. Three of those goals have come in the group stage of the FA Women’s Continental League Cup.

The midfielder arrives in the American Midwest in good time to link-up with her new teammates for pre-season training ahead of the 2021 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) campaign.

Logarzo’s former club Bristol City currently sit bottom of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League table having claimed just two points and being without a win so far this season. The Robins will be aiming to record their first league win of the campaign on Saturday when Brighton & Hove Albion are the latest visitors to Twerton Park.
