Manchester United full-back Ona Batlle has been named in the Spain squad for their upcoming international friendly matches against The Netherlands and Mexico.
Spain face the Dutch in Marbella at the Estadio Municipal de Marbella on Friday 9 April before taking on Mexico at the same venue four days later.
Head coach Jorge Vilda named his 24-player squad yesterday with Manchester United defender Batlle again making the final line-up.

Batlle will move into double figures in terms of senior appearances for the Spanish national team should she feature in both games. The player is currently on eight senior caps which she has collected over the course of the last 22 months. Batlle made her senior international debut in a friendly against Cameroon ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019, although she didn’t make the final squad for the tournament.
Spain are currently in an impressive run of form. Only world champions, the United States, have not been defeated by Vilda’s side in their matches played in 2020 and so far in 2021. Spain have also kept five consecutive clean sheets whilst scoring 40 goals in those games.
Full-back Batlle will fly out to link-up with her country following Manchester United’s trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on Easter Sunday.
