Coventry United have agreed professional terms with goalkeeper Olivia Clark.
The 19-year-old joined The Red and Greens from FA Women’s National League North club Huddersfield Town last summer and she has gone on to impress at the Butts Park Arena.
Clark was largely an understudy to first choice goalkeeper Sue Wood this season but with the veteran stopper having now retired, the youngster has a real opportunity to make the jersey her own. Clark signed a two-year contract extension at the Butts Park Arena in January but it has today been confirmed that she has now agreed professional terms with the club. Coventry United confirmed the news via a post on their official club Twitter account this evening.

Clark made four appearances in all competitions for Coventry United last season. She is still awaiting her first clean sheet for the club. The youngster is one of the most highly-rated up and coming goalkeepers in the English second tier.
Over the course of the last six to nine months, Clark has been in and around the Welsh international squad. She has been named amongst the substitutes on four occasions and finally made her senior debut as Wales lost 1-0 to Scotland in Llanelli on Tuesday evening.
Clark is the seventh player to sign on again at Coventry United this summer.
