Bristol City will return home in 2021/2022 with the club having today announced a move to their High Performance Centre (Robins HPC) on the outskirts of the city.

The Robins have been playing their football at Twerton Park in Bath, however, they will relocate back to Bristol to use the club’s new state-of-the-art facility close to their traditional Ashton Gate home.

Like in previous seasons, in addition to home fixtures being staged at the High Performance Centre, Bristol City will also have the opportunity to host some matches at Ashton Gate as the club continue to showcase women’s football on a primary platform. The Robins will also continue their partnership with the SGS College.

Bristol City have said that the decision to move back to the city will allow fans to reconnect with the club as the UK comes out of the Coronavirus pandemic while having the men’s, academy and women’s sides using the High Performance Centre is key to The Robins growing a ‘one club mentality’.

Bristol City will play their football in the FA Women’s Championship next season. The club were relegated to the second tier following a 3-1 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion on the final day of the 2020/2021 Barclays FA Women’s Super League season.
