Crystal Palace have completed the signing of former Tottenham Hotspur and London Bees midfielder Sophie McLean.
The 25-year-old moves to Hayes Lane on a free transfer after leaving The Bees at the end of last season.
Crystal Palace announced the deal via a post on their official club Twitter account this morning.

McLean spent one season at The Hive in which she made 19 appearances and scored three goals. The player was unable to help London Bees fight off the threat of relegation to the FA Women’s National League last season.
Prior to her spell with London Bees, McLean enjoyed seven successful years with Spurs. She helped the North Londoners climb the footballing pyramid and she made 17 appearances in the club’s promotion-winning campaign in 2018/2019 as Spurs claimed a place in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League for the first time in their history. McLean made 124 senior appearances in a Spurs shirt in total and scored six goals.
McLean links up with a number of former Spurs teammates including Chloe Morgan and Coral-Jade Haines at new club Crystal Palace. The trio were influential in that promotion winning campaign in the FA Women’s Championship three years ago and they will be keen to recreate their successes at Hayes Lane.
Crystal Palace begin the new FA Women’s Championship season against Bristol City at Hayes Lane on Sunday.
