Arsenal continue their UEFA Women’s Champions League adventure when Slavia Prague are the visitors to Meadow Park this evening for their Round 2 first leg tie.
The Gunners have already seen off both FC Okhetpes and PSV in this season’s competition and they now come up against a Slavia Prague outfit who they defeated 13-2 on aggregate just a couple of seasons ago.
Arsenal go into the match without long term absentees Malin Gut and Viktoria Schnaderbeck while Jordan Nobbs is also unlikely to be involved. Lia Wälti missed the victories over FC Okhetpes and PSV with a calf injury but could return against Slavia Prague while Leah Williamson is also thought to be available for selection. Youngsters Hermoine Cull and Teyah Goldie have again been included in Jonas Eidevall’s 22-player squad.
Slavia Prague have already started their domestic season, beating Pardubice 8-0 and Slovan Liberec 4-0. Michal Kolomazník’s side have plenty of quality in their ranks with the likes of Tereza Szewieczková and Tereza Kožárová having started the season in particularly good form.
The UEFA Women’s Champions League Round 2 first leg tie between Arsenal and Slavia Prague at Meadow Park kicks-off at 7.30pm. Fans can buy tickets to attend the game by clicking here. Alternatively, the match will be made available to stream live on arsenal.com.
