Liverpool and Crystal Palace will be looking to return to winning ways in the FA Women’s Championship when the pair meet at Prenton Park this afternoon.

With both teams being level on points with four out of a possible nine so far this season The Reds and The Eagles will both be wanting to collect the valuable points that are on offer to move up the table.

Both sides drew their last games with Liverpool being held at home by Bristol City and Crystal Palace battling to a 1-1 draw with Sunderland at Selhurst Park, Millie Farrow being the goalscorer for the hosts.

Liverpool are aiming to record their first home win of the season at the third attempt with that goalless draw with Bristol City adding to a 1-0 loss to London City Lionesses on opening day.

The Reds’ latest opponents Crystal Palace certainly haven’t struggled scoring goals this season with their tally of six being the joint-highest in the FA Women’s Championship. Manager Dean Davenport has worked hard on recruitment this summer and he has built a strong squad which is capable of progressing.

The FA Women’s Championship fixture between Liverpool and Crystal Palace at Prenton Park kicks-off at 2pm.
