New Everton manager Jean-Luc Vasseur will hope to mark his first Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture in charge of The Blue Girls with a win when Brighton & Hove Albion are the visitors to Walton Hall Park on Saturday.

The Frenchman has completed his first week in charge of the Merseysiders and he won his first match as Everton boss as the club defeated Leicester City 3-1 in the FA Women’s Continental League Cup in midweek.

The Everton squad is in good shape ahead of the club’s latest fixture. Danish international Nicoline Sørensen is expected to be the only absentee. Manager Vasseur must decide whether to keep faith with those players who served the club so well at The Pirelli Stadium on Wednesday or make one or two adjustments to his line-up.

Brighton & Hove Albion could welcome goalkeeper Fran Stenson back into the squad after she was ineligible to line-up against her parent club Arsenal last weekend in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup. Midfielder Dani Bowman is again likely to be sidelined, however, manager Hope Powell is not thought to have any other injury concerns.

The Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture between Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion kicks-off at 5.30pm on Saturday evening. Tickets are available to purchase here.
