The final action of the weekend in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League comes at Meadow Park as Arsenal take on West Ham United.
Unless the visitors cause a real upset and win by huge margin, Arsenal will end the weekend glued to the league summit. Three points for West Ham United would take them up to fifth above Manchester United.
Ahead of the match, FAWSL Full-Time have been looking at the statistics surrounding the fixture provided by Opta. Here are four facts which relate to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League meeting between Arsenal and West Ham United.
Arsenal have a perfect record against The Hammers
Arsenal have won all five of their meetings against West Ham United in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. West Ham United have taken points from every top flight side, apart from Arsenal.
Hammered at home – West Ham United’s shocker in Dagenham
West Ham United conceded 11 goals against Arsenal in last season’s fixtures while they netted just once. Nine of those goals came as Arsenal stunned The Hammers at The Chigwell Construction Stadium. The North Londoners ran out 9-1 winners in Dagenham with former midfielder Jill Roord netting a hat-trick and forward Vivianne Miedema notching a brace. The result remains West Ham United’s heaviest defeat on home soil.
Both sides have enjoyed excellent starts

Meanwhile, West Ham United have enjoyed their best-ever start to a top flight campaign with eight points collected from an available 15.

Mead has assisted goals in three of the five meetings with West Ham United. She provided a hat-trick of assists in Arsenal’s 4-2 win over West Ham United at Rush Green in early 2019.
