Chelsea will be hoping to take another step towards qualification for the knockout stages of this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League when they take on Servette FCCF in their third group match in Geneva tomorrow night.

The Blues have taken four points from their two group games to date while latest opponents Servette are the group minnows and have lost both matches, conceding the highest number of goals in the process.

Servette are expecting a crowd of around 10,000 at the Stade de Genève for their meeting with the Barclays FA Women’s Super League champions. The Swiss side are not expected to have many injury concerns to contend with, however, it is understood that head coach Eric Severac will definitely be without the services of Spanish forward Marta Peiro Giménez who has been suffering with appendicitis.

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes has confirmed that she has a fully fit squad available to her. Maren Mjelde and Lauren James are unlikely to be fielded in the club’s latest match while Blues boss Hayes could express caution towards centre-back Aniek Nouwen who sustained a slight twinge in her abductor at Aston Villa on Saturday. Forward Pernille Harder has been training in the lead up to the game after picking up a recent knock and should be fit to feature.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League group fixture between Servette and Chelsea kicks-off at 5.45pm tomorrow night and will be available for fans to stream live on DAZN.
