Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to end the calendar year in a European qualification position in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League table by defeating Everton at The Hive on Sunday.

Spurs are currently in third position, however, they are just two points clear of both Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United who are also currently scheduled to play their matches this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur will again be without forward Kit Graham who is out for the season after sustaining an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury. Molly Bartrip and Kyah Simon were absent from the squad which faced Coventry United in the FA Women’s Continental League Cup on Wednesday, however, that could have been due to a decision to rest them. At this stage, no further team updates have been provided.

Everton manager Jean-Luc Vasseur has revealed that he is facing a potential injury crisis with The Blue Girls possibly only having 14 players available for selection. Nicoline Sørensen is out for the season while forwards Claire Emslie and Valérie Gauvin are sidelined until the New Year. Toni Duggan was named on the bench against Manchester United in midweek but it is thought that she is carrying a knock.
