Barclays FA Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal will be aiming to return to winning ways when they face Brighton & Hove Albion at Meadow Park on Thursday evening.
The Gunners are winless in four matches in all competitions, although they do still have a firm grim on top spot in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.
Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall continues to be without Lydia Williams, Steph Catley, Caitlin Foord and Mana Iwabuchi with the quartet away on international duty at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022. Malin Gut remains sidelined with injury while Katie McCabe is suspended. Head coach Eidevall has confirmed that defender Leah Williamson is fit to play.
Brighton & Hove Albion will again be without forward Lee Guem-min who is away on international duty. Manager Hope Powell is not thought to have any other injury concerns to contend with and she could opt to keep faith with the side which battled to a goalless draw with Chelsea at the weekend as The Seagulls ended a long losing run.
The Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture between Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion kicks-off at 7.30pm on Thursday evening. Tickets for the match remain available and can be purchased by clicking here.
