Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to reach the final of this season’s FA Women’s Continental League Cup when the pair contest their semi-final tie at The Academy Stadium on Thursday.

The Cityzens are the competition’s second most successful club while opponents Tottenham Hotspur are yet to reach a major domestic cup final.

Manchester City head coach Gareth Taylor has confirmed that midfielder Keira Walsh is available for selection after missing Saturday’s 8-0 win at Nottingham Forest in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup. Defender Steph Houghton and forward Ellen White will face late fitness tests. Hayley Raso and Alanna Kennedy have returned from international duty and could play a part while Manchester City are still awaiting international clearance for recent signing Julie Blakstad. Karima Benameur Taieb, Karen Bardsley, Esme Morgan and Chloe Kelly remain sidelined with injury.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Rehanne Skinner could welcome back forward Kyah Simon after Australia’s involvement at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022 came to an end. Cho So-hyun and Tang Jiali remain away at the tournament. Forward Kit Graham is out for the season while the condition of Chioma Ubogagu is unknown.
