Manchester United will be looking to take another step towards European qualification when they take on Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Saturday.

The Red Devils have returned to third place in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League table following last weekend’s 4-0 victory over Leicester City at the Leigh Sports Village while latest opponents Reading stopped the rot with a goalless home draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

Reading have had relatively good fortune with injuries in recent weeks. Goalkeeper Grace Moloney returned to the side against Spurs last weekend, leaving manager Kelly Chambers with a fully fit squad. The Royals are again set to be in good shape going into this weekend’s match.

Manchester United head coach Marc Skinner has confirmed that Hayley Ladd, Lucy Staniforth, Kirsty Smith and Carrie Jones will all be missing this weekend while Millie Turner also remains out. Forward Signe Bruun could face a late fitness test with the player currently rated 50-50. Midfielder Jade Moore is still not fit enough to make her Manchester United debut.

The Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture between Reading and Manchester United at the Select Car Leasing Stadium kicks-off at 11.30am on Saturday morning. Tickets for the match are on-sale now and are available to purchase by clicking here.
