Arsenal will be hoping that luck is on their side when they travel to West Ham United for their final Barclays FA Women’s Super League match of the 2021/2022 season on Sunday.

The Gunners must better Chelsea’s result against Manchester United this weekend if they are to become Barclays FA Women’s Super League champions for the first time in three years.

West Ham United go into this weekend’s fixture with the incentive of recording a first-ever top half of the table finish in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. Manager Olli Harder is likely to again be without goalkeeper Anna Leat and youngster Maisy Barker while the current condition of defenders Lucy Parker and Gilly Flaherty is not known.

Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall will again be without the services of midfielder Jordan Nobbs who is out for the long term while defender Rafaelle Souza is also likely to be missing. The Gunners boss has confirmed that Lia Wälti will be fit to feature this weekend after being the subject of a dangerous tackle in the North London derby in midweek.

The Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture between West Ham United and Arsenal is scheduled to kick-off at 12pm on Sunday afternoon.
