Bristol City have confirmed that Satara Murray, Aggie Beever-Jones, Izzy Cook, Maisy Collis and Simran Jhamat will leave the club this summer.
The Robins announced the news via an update on their official club website this afternoon.
Defender Murray has been a towering presence for Bristol City in this season’s FA Women’s Championship. She has made 21 appearances, helping her side to keep seven clean sheets.
Attacker Beever-Jones has enjoyed a thoroughly beneficial loan spell with The Robins from Barclays FA Women’s Super League champions Chelsea. The youngster has featured in every single league game for Lauren Smith’s side, scoring five goals. The player clearly has a huge future in the game and it will be fascinating to see what comes next in her career.
Midfielders Jhamat and Collis have both been useful squad players for Bristol City while Cook has struggled to make the breakthrough with minutes very much at a premium.
Bristol City enjoyed a relatively successful season following their relegation from the Barclays FA Women’s Super League 12 months’ ago. Despite having a virtually brand new squad, Smith’s side flirted briefly with automatic promotion before eventually finishing the campaign in third place. With a few positive additions this summer, Bristol City could be pushing for promotion again next season.
