Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that three players are leaving the club this summer at the end of their contracts.

Spurs issued a squad update today via a post on their official club website. It has been confirmed that Josie Green, Angela Addison and Rachel Williams are moving on.

Midfielder Green is the longest serving player of those departing. The player has spent six seasons with Spurs, helping the club rise from non-elite football to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. She made 11 league appearances for The Lilywhites this season.

While Green was used sparingly by Spurs this season, midfielder Addison and forward Williams featured more regularly for The Lilywhites. Addison made 19 Barclays FA Women’s Super League appearances for Spurs this term while Williams was the spearhead of the North Londoners’ attack, scoring four goals and being an ever-present for Rehanne Skinner’s side.

In terms of players being retained, Spurs have taken up contract options on Shelina Zadorsky, Ria Percival, Tinja-Riikka Korpela, Jessica Naz, Rosella Ayane, Maéva Clemaron and So-hyun Cho while youngsters Esther Morgan, Eleanor Heeps and Gracie Pearse are set to remain with the club in 2022/2023.

Spurs ended the 2021/2022 campaign in their highest-ever position of fifth place in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.
