West Ham United have announced the news that Canadian goalkeeper Emily Moore will leave the club this summer.

The Hammers confirmed the news via a post on their official club website earlier today.

Moore arrived at The Chigwell Construction Stadium during the January transfer window. The player largely provided emergency cover for Anna Leat when first choice goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold was away on international duty at the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup with Australia. Moore was named on The Hammers bench on eight occasions in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League but remained unused. The player will now look to push on in her career elsewhere next season.

Moore is the latest of several players to leave West Ham United since the end of the season. Captain Gilly Flaherty was the first to announce her departure while she was quickly joined on the East London club’s exit list by Leat, Lois Joel, Zaneta Wyne and Kateřina Svitková.

West Ham United will also play under the guidance of a new manager next season. Former boss Olli Harder opted to move on at the end of the season and his assistant Paul Konchesky has stepped up. The former Hammers defender will have to make a number of new player additions before the new season kicks-off.
