Teenage forward Mia Enderby has agreed to remain with Sheffield United for the 2022/2023 season.
FAWSL Full-Time were informed of Enderby’s new deal via an official club press release from Sheffield United this afternoon.
The 17-year-old attacker was a regular from the bench for The Blades in the FA Women’s Championship this season and she will undoubtedly go on to experience bigger and better things with the South Yorkshire club in the coming years. Enderby made 14 league appearances for Sheffield United, her only start coming in the 3-0 home win over Watford back in September.
Speaking after signing her new contract with Sheffield United, the England Under-17 international forward said “I’m really happy to sign for my second season with Sheffield United. It’s an amazing bunch of players to be around, they have offered me a lot of help and advice last season and now I can’t wait to take that into the new season and hopefully do well.”
Enderby has joined Courtney Sweetman-Kirk, Maddy Cusack, Charlotte Newsham, Tamara Wilcock and Lara Miller in signing a new deal with Sheffield United in the close season. The fact that head coach Neil Redfearn has already retained the core of his team bodes well for Sheffield United taking some consistency into the new campaign after a bright second half of the season in 2021/2022.
