London City Lionesses attacker Atlanta Primus has signed a new contract with the club ahead of the 2022/2023 season.
The Pride informed FAWSL Full-Time of their latest squad update via a news bulletin this afternoon.
The 25-year-old Jamaican international joined London City Lionesses ahead of the 2020/2021 season. Primus has made 38 appearances for The Pride in her two seasons in the Barclays Women’s Championship while she has scored seven goals. The player will now be looking to enjoy another productive campaign with London City Lionesses in 2022/2023 after agreeing a new contract with the club.
After signing on again at Princes Park, Primus said “I’m extremely happy to have resigned with London City for the upcoming season.
“I believe we have a great team and an opportunity to build upon the lessons we learned throughout last season.
“It’s a great environment with hungry and determined individuals so I’m excited to dive back into the grind with everyone!”
Primus is the eighth player to sign a new contract with Melissa Phillips’ London City Lionesses side so far this summer. She follows teammates Shae Yanez, Karin Muya, Hayley Nolan, Grace Neville, Anna Pedersen, Rianna Jarrett and Lucy Fitzgerald in committing her immediate future to the Dartford-based club.
