Manchester United have announced their third signing of the summer with talented young Lioness Grace Clinton joining the club.

Clinton has made a name for herself at Everton where she has come through the club’s youth ranks to impress for the first team.  Her performances with the England youth set up have also not gone unnoticed with Clinton featuring in the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship in the Czech Republic this summer.

The addition of Clinton marks the third new arrival through the doors at the Leigh Sports Village this summer following the news that both Adriana Leon and Rachel Williams will also be plying their trade in the red of Manchester United next season.

Clinton signs with The Red Devils on a deal that’ll keep her at the club through to the end of the 2024/2025 season. The highly-rated prospect is still only 19 years old and she has her best years ahead of her.

With the transfers thus far all being in the forward areas and Manchester United looking quite sparse in the backline, it is highly unlikely that this will be the final piece of business that we can expect from head coach Marc Skinner this summer. A few more deals are likely to come to fruition before the new season starts.
