Chelsea have sold all of their available season tickets for a second consecutive season according to reports on The Blues’ official club website.

The reigning Barclays Women’s Super League champions are one of the best supported clubs in the league and that theme will continue in 2022/2023.

While all season tickets have been sold, The Blues have confirmed that a number of tickets will be available on a match-by-match basis, allowing those fans who are unable to go to every game to attend.

News that Chelsea’s season tickets have sold out came just 24 hours after England won the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022. The Lionesses defeated Germany 2-1 after extra-time at Wembley in the final as they became European champions for the very first time. It is understood that a number of other clubs have enjoyed an initial surge in demand for tickets for the 2022/2023 season off the back of England’s success.

Chelsea hope to begin the 2022/2023 season in-front of a record crowd when The Blues take on West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on 11 September. The current attendance record stands at 24,564 which was recorded in Chelsea’s last Stamford Bridge appearance in 2019 but The Blues are hopeful of attracting a crowd of closer to 40,000 this time around.
