London City Lionesses have announced the news that forward Millie Farrow is leaving the club to take up another opportunity elsewhere.
The Pride announced the news via a post on their official club Twitter account just a short time ago.
Farrow joined London City Lionesses in the close season after leaving former club Crystal Palace. The player represented The Pride in their pre-season programme but she has opted against remaining with the club during the season.
The 26-year-old Portsmouth-born forward has represented a number of different clubs in her career to date. Farrow started her career at Barclays Women’s Super League champions Chelsea before enjoying spells with Bristol City and Reading. In 2020, Farrow dropped into the Barclays Women’s Championship to join Leicester City. She helped The Foxes to win promotion to the top flight in her only season with the club.
Farrow joined Crystal Palace last summer and she netted five goals in 19 appearances for The Eagles in the Barclays Women’s Championship in 2021/2022. It is unknown what the future holds for Farrow with the player having now left London City Lionesses following a brief spell with the Dartford-based club.
London City Lionesses head coach Melissa Phillips could opt to dip back into the transfer market should she feel it necessary to strengthen her forward line.
