Chelsea have announced that December’s UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage match against Paris Saint-Germain will take place at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues announced the decision to switch the game from Kingmeadow to Stamford Bridge this afternoon via an update on their official club website.

The announcement comes off the back of The Blues selling all of their general admission tickets for Sunday’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur at The Bridge. Chelsea will play at their spiritual home for the first time since September 2019 when they contest a London derby against Rehanne Skinner’s Spurs.

Chelsea’s UEFA Women’s Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain is their last fixture in the group stage. The Blues will hope to already have qualification for the quarter-finals in the bag by the time that Paris Saint-Germain arrive in London. Emma Hayes’ side have collected maximum points from their two group games so far. Chelsea were 1-0 winners in Paris on Matchday 1, Millie Bright scoring the only goal in a gritty 1-0 victory. There was little to separate the two sides at the Stade Jean-Bouin and the return leg should be equally as keenly fought.

Tickets for Chelsea’s UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage match against Paris Saint-Germain are on-sale to season ticket holders now while general sale will begin tomorrow. Fans can purchase their tickets by clicking here.
