Chelsea will make their long-awaited return to Stamford Bridge when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues have not played at their traditional home since September 2019 when they defeated the same opponents 1-0. This weekend should see Chelsea break the attendance record for a women’s team match at Stamford Bridge with all general admission tickets having sold out well in advance of the game.

Chelsea will have manager Emma Hayes back in the dugout for the first time since before the October international break. Hayes has been recovering from an emergency hysterectomy in the last six weeks.

In terms of team news, Chelsea will be without midfielder Pernille Harder who sustained a suspected hamstring injury during the international break. Fran Kirby and Jelena Čanković have been building their fitness up after illness and injury while Melanie Leupolz remains on maternity leave.

Tottenham Hotspur go into the match without Polish international forward Nikola Karczewska who has picked up an injury. Kit Graham, Ria Percival, Kyah Simon and Ellie Brazil all continue to be sidelined with Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries.

The Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur kicks-off at 1pm on Sunday afternoon. Limited hospitality tickets remain available and can be purchased by clicking here.
