Scunthorpe United’s Glanford Park plays host to FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup football on Saturday evening when Sheffield United host top flight club Everton in their latest fixture in the group stage.

The Blades have played all of their home fixtures in the Barclays Women’s Championship at Bramall Lane this season, however, they will cross the border into North Lincolnshire for this weekend’s match in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup.

Sheffield United go into the match in good shape with head coach Neil Redfearn again having a near-fully fit squad available. On loan Leicester City midfielder Sophie Barker continues to make good progress on the training pitch following her long term injury while the condition of youngster Mia Enderby is not known with the player having missed last weekend’s defeat to London City Lionesses.

Everton manager Brian Sørensen is again likely to be without defender Katrine Veje and midfielder Izzy Christiansen for the trip to Scunthorpe. Nicoline Sørensen is rebuilding her fitness after an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury but will not play while The Blue Girls are without the pregnant Toni Duggan until next season.

The FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup fixture between Sheffield United and Everton kicks-off at 5pm on Saturday evening. Tickets will be available on the day at Glanford Park.
