Chelsea have completely sold out their allocation of tickets for next month’s London derby against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The Blues announced the news this morning via an update on their official club Twitter account.

The two clubs will meet in North London on Sunday 15 January 2023. It will be the first meeting of the two Barclays Women’s Super League heavyweights this season with the reverse fixture not set to take place until May.

Chelsea and Arsenal go into the New Year in first and second place in the Barclays Women’s Super League table. Both clubs have lost just one of their league games during the first half of the season. Emma Hayes’ side are above latest opponents Arsenal in the table courtesy of winning a game more, The Gunners have a game-in-hand to play in 2023.

It was Arsenal who had the better record in last season’s meetings with Chelsea. The Gunners defeated The Blues 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium before battling out a goalless draw at Kingsmeadow in the reverse fixture. There will be very little to separate the two sides in the upcoming games this season.

Chelsea’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture at Arsenal kicks-off at 12pm on Sunday 15 January 2023. Tickets for home fans remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
