Brighton & Hove Albion’s teenage midfielder Lulu Jarvis has signed a professional contract with the club until summer 2024.

The Seagulls announced the news this morning via a post on their official club website.

Jarvis has successfully graduated from the Brighton & Hove Albion academy system into the senior squad. The midfielder has been named in the Sussex club’s matchday squad on 10 occasions this season. Jarvis was handed her senior debut for The Seagulls in their 8-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur back in October.

The youngster has bags of potential and she will now be hoping to continue to prove her worth to Brighton & Hove Albion in the next one-and-a-half years.

After signing her first professional terms, Jarvis said “I’ve been in the academy for the past four years, it’s a gift for me to be able to stay here.

“The coaches and my family have sacrificed a lot for me. For them to put their trust in me and support me through this journey is amazing.”

Jarvis’ professional deal is the first piece of business completed by Brighton & Hove Albion in new head coach Jens Scheuer’s time in charge of the club. Further positive moves with regard to personnel are expected to be made in January.
