Manchester United’s latest signing Lisa Naalsund says that she will give her all in a bid to win medals with the club.

The 27-year-old joined The Red Devils on a three-and-a-half-year deal yesterday. Naalsund is Manchester United boss Marc Skinner’s third new addition of the January transfer window.

In her first interview with Manchester United, Naalsund made it clear that she has come to the club to enjoy lots of success. The midfielder wants to use her experience from her time with former club SK Brann to win trophies and play in Europe.

“Of course, it is great that I can come to a club that has everything to play for,” Naalsund told MUTV. “I love that and I’m used to it at Brann so it is going to be great.

“It’s amazing to play in the Champions League so it would be nice if this club also played in it next year.”

Naalsund went on to say that she will give her all to win medals with Manchester United and that she wants to celebrate great achievements with the club’s fans.

She added “I’m hard-working so I am going to do everything that I can so that we win and get medals. I hope they see that.

“I’m looking forward to seeing them (the fans) and I hope we can have many good things to celebrate come the end of the season.”

Naalsund could make her Manchester United debut in their Vitality Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Sunderland subject to the relevant clearance and approval being granted.
