Birmingham City forward Delphi Cole has joined FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division club West Bromwich Albion on a dual-registration deal until the end of the season.
The Blues announced news of the transfer via an update on their official club Twitter account this morning.
Cole has come through the Birmingham City Regional Talent Centre (RTC) and academy pathway and she went on to make her senior debut for the club at just 16 years of age. The 17-year-old has been in and around the Birmingham City senior squad this season but playing opportunities have been limited. Cole made a brief appearance for the Blues in a 3-0 Barclays Women’s Championship defeat at Charlton Athletic back in September while she was also given an outing in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup group stage.
The youngster joins a West Bromwich Albion side who currently find themselves in 11th position in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division table, although The Baggies do have games-in-hand given their successful run in this season’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
Cole could be involved for her new club for the first time when they travel to the North West to face AFC Fylde on Sunday afternoon.
