Reading will be hoping to upset the odds when they welcome Chelsea to the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Sunday afternoon for a Vitality Women’s FA Cup quarter-final tie.

The Royals have never contested a major domestic cup final but they will be dreaming of Wembley. This weekend, they come up against the four-time Vitality Women’s FA Cup winners and the current holders of the trophy.

Reading manager Kelly Chambers is not thought to have any fresh injury concerns to contend with ahead of her side’s latest match. Defender Deanna Cooper will not be fit in time to face her former club while youngster Tia Primmer could also be missing. The Royals now have attacker Deanne Rose back on the training pitch but she is several weeks away from regaining full fitness.

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes will again be without long-term absentees Pernille Harder and Kateřina Svitková while there is no update on the fitness of Fran Kirby or Erin Cuthbert. Guro Reiten could return to the squad following her recent illness.

The Vitality Women’s FA Cup quarter-final tie between Reading and Chelsea is scheduled to kick-off at 2pm on Sunday afternoon. Tickets remain available and can be purchased by clicking here.
