North London derby bragging rights will again be on the line when Tottenham Hotspur face Arsenal at the Breyer Group Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Spurs are yet to defeat their North London neighbours in the Barclays Women’s Super League and The Gunners will go into the latest meeting as the strong favourites.

The hosts go into the match under the continued interim management of Vicky Jepson. The 36-year-old former Liverpool head coach was put in interim change of Spurs following the dismissal of former boss Rehanne Skinner earlier this month. Jepson confirmed in the pre-match press conference that Canadian international defender Shelina Zadorsky will miss the game with illness while Spurs remain without the services of long-term absentees Ria Percival, Ellie Brazil, Kyah Simon and Ramona Petzelberger.

Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall will have veteran forward Jodie Taylor available for selection for the very first time since joining the club on a free transfer last week. The Gunners remain without the services of Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema who are out for the season while Australian international defender Steph Catley is some weeks away from regaining match fitness.

The Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal kicks-off at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
