Tottenham Hotspur defender Molly Bartrip has signed a new contract with the club which will run until summer 2025.
The Lilywhites confirmed the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
The 26-year-old centre-back joined Spurs for the second time in her career after leaving former club Reading in summer 2021. The player has gone on to make 54 appearances for the North Londoners in all competitions in which she has scored one goal.
Bartrip has been a model of consistency during her second spell with Spurs. She has featured in every Barclays Women’s Super League fixture since returning to the club. The defender helped Spurs to record their highest-ever league finish of fifth place last season. She will now be hoping to continue to play a key role in the team after committing her long-term future to the club.
Despite enjoying a hugely successful 2021/2022, Spurs have struggled this season and they still need to confirm their top tier status for next year. Bartrip will be an important player in the coming weeks as The Lilywhites aim to become harder to beat.
Spurs are next in action on Sunday afternoon when in-form Aston Villa are the visitors to The Breyer Group Stadium in Leyton.
