Aston Villa defender Evie Rabjohn has completed a move to Barclays Women’s Super League rivals Manchester United.

FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the transfer via an official club press release from Manchester United this morning.

Rabjohn’s transfer to Manchester United was expected with the player having been strongly linked with a move to the Leigh Sports Village for a few weeks.

The 18-year-old will link-up with her new teammates immediately ahead of formally being registered as a Manchester United player for the 2023/2024 campaign.

After signing for Manchester United, Rabjohn said “This is such a big club and to be able to sign here with my family around me, is what dreams are made of. I’ll do anything for this team, to get us to where we want to be.”

Rabjohn came through the youth ranks at former club Aston Villa and she went on to make her senior debut for the club in a 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United in the group stage of last season’s FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup. Since making her senior debut, the youngster has added a further five appearances to her tally.

The player is being tipped for a bright future and she will be hoping to reach her full potential at Manchester United.
