Manchester United will be hoping to take another small step towards winning a first Barclays Women’s Super League title when Tottenham Hotspur are the visitors to the Leigh Sports Village on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils remain at the top of the table but they can be caught by Chelsea if they win their two games-in-hand. Manchester United simply have to win their final three games and hope that their title rivals slip up.

Manchester United head coach Marc Skinner will be without the services of captain Katie Zelem for his side’s latest match. The midfielder is suspended. The Red Devils continue to be without both Lisa Naalsund and Maria Thorisdottir through injury.

Tottenham Hotspur arrive in the North West having got some of their players back from long-term injuries, however, attackers Ellie Brazil and Kyah Simon continue to recover from their Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries and won’t play again this season. Ramona Petzelberger is expected to return to the squad while interim head coach Vicky Jepson will carefully manage the minutes of a couple of her players.

The Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur is scheduled to kick-off at 12.30pm on Sunday afternoon. Tickets remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
