Charlton Athletic midfielder Mia Ross has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.

The Addicks announced news of the player’s new deal via a post on their official club website earlier today.

Ross has spent the last two seasons with Charlton Athletic after joining the club from Liverpool in summer 2021. The player has gone on to make 35 appearances for the South East Londoners in the Barclays Women’s Championship in which she has scored two goals. At the age of 20, Ross is still growing in the game and she will be hoping to develop further as a Charlton Athletic player this season after extending her contract at The Oakwood.

After signing her new deal with The Addicks, Ross said “I’m happy to have signed a new contract with Charlton and looking forward to another season of building on a positive project.

“Charlton have continued to consistently develop me to perform and compete at a high level, I want to continue to strive in the right direction to help the team as much as possible.”

Ross is the seventh player to sign a new contract with Charlton Athletic this summer. She follows Mary Bashford, Jess Gray, Angela Addison, Kiera Skeels, Beth Roe and Sophie O’Rourke in signing on again with the South East Londoners.
