Former Crystal Palace defender Hollie Olding has joined Lewes on a free transfer.
The Rooks announced news of their latest signing via a post on their official club website this evening.
Olding joins Lewes after spending one season with Crystal Palace. The 24-year-old has also represented Brighton & Hove Albion and Charlton Athletic in her career to date. Olding is still relatively inexperienced in the English professional game but she has lots of potential and will be hoping to grow under the guidance of Scott Booth at Lewes.
After completing her move to The Dripping Pan, Olding said “I’m really excited to be here, I’ve done two sessions now with Scott (Booth) and the team, and I’m just really excited to be part of Lewes.
“It’s always looked like a great club, the fans, the engagement, and what Lewes do off the pitch. I really liked Scott and when I spoke to him, he put my mind at ease with everything.
“Last season, I found myself mainly in midfield but I am quite versatile, I’d like to add more goals to my game, hopefully a few assists, and I’ll be a competitor on the pitch.”
Olding is Lewes boss Booth’s fifth new addition of the summer transfer window.
